Santera at Plumpton
Our bad luck continues, Santera sat nicely off the pace, came to join the leader on the final bend and was cut up very badly, virtually stopped. She was unable to renew her challenge as all momentum had been lost, another one that has got away! Will be looking for another race for her, maybe the handicapper will drop her a couple of pounds!

Highland Homestead at Huntingdon
We were very disappointed by the pace in the race, William wished after the race that he had kicked on as we were certain stayers but we had a nice introduction to the hurdles and we would not be frightened of taking the first three on again in a properly run race. We are not sure how good a race this was but we picked up a 1000 however we believe this to be an unlucky run!
This horse has a very bright future over hurdles! next problem will be to find another nice race for him!

Kings Majejesty and Mad Professor at Fontwell.
Unfortunately William gave Mad Professor a poor ride, I warned when saddling not to take it up too early as he would fade if too long in front, we were surprised how long he lasted in the lead and must say the horse impressed us but what a wasted opportunity, these due not grow on trees, on a brighter note he really ought to win next time!
Kings Majesty ran a very good race in adverse ground, we knew it would not suit but he had to run on it sometime! however he acquited himself well, turned the tables with first option abd would have gone exceedingly close on better ground. a big race awaits him somewhere!

Another Kings Best joins us.
As you know we like Kings Best as a sire and today Mulaazem joined us, we were surprised how well he handled the conditions today which Muraco hated.
Mulaazem is bred in the purple, Dam won the 1000g, has won and been placed, nicely handicapped on the flat as well.
We will as usual employ different tactics on him and he may well go on the flat first to try and settle him at the back of fields.
Muraco really hated the ground today and may well have to run back on the flat!
